"2007 Le Petite Oink" Labeled and bottled as "WHEN PIGS FLY"

A Dessert Wine. "A blend of our Rose' and Gewurztraminer" We released 100 cases in January, 2009 for this vintage.

TASTING NOTES: A medium bodied rose' wine, not overly sweet with floral overtones and a light citrus nose. A wonderful way to end a meal with a fruit or cheese plate.

2006 CHARDONNAY "Applegate Valley"

Released in early February, 2008 with about 200 cases. Once again Layne Vineyards is the source for our grapes. We whole cluster pressed the grape juice into small oak casks for fermentation. After fermentation the wine remained in these casks on the yeast lees, stirred every 3-4 weeks for 9 months before racking and bottling. The wine is un-fined and un-filtered and will throw a sediment in the bottle with time.

2007 VIOGNIER "Applegate Valley"

We released 200 cases in July, 2008 for this vintage.

TASTING NOTES: Very floral nose, tastes of peaches and apricots, great mouthfeel. Goes well with any white meats, fish, poultry and cheese.

2007 THE BUTLER DID IT, A ROSE'

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Zinfandel are the grapes used in this Rose' wine, we bottled 75 cases for this vintage.

TASTING NOTES: This is full bodied Rose', hints of melon, citrus and pepper abound, as typical with Rose', its a great summer wine, goes well with all kinds of picnic stuff.

2006 SHIRAZ BLUSH, Labeled and bottled as "WHEN PIGS FLY"

We released 200 cases in November, 2007 for this vintage.

TASTING NOTES: A barrel fermented, medium bodied, dry rose' wine with a fruity nose and great mouthfeel. A wonderful summer picnic wine. This wine goes well with BBQ, burgers etc.

2007 PRECIPICE, ESTATE BOTTLED

A blend of 50% 2006 Merlot and 50% 2006 Zinfandel, from Old Stage Vineyards. We released this wine in December 2008 with about 200 cases.

TASTING NOTES: A medium bodied dry red wine with a fruity nose and great mouthfeel that goes well with red meat and game.

2005 MERLOT, Applegate Valley

Grapes from Steelhead Run Vineyards. We released 100 cases in February, 2010 for this vintage. "Salmon Safe"

TASTING NOTES: A full bodied, dry, intensely deeply colored red wine, aged in oak for 18 months before bottling. A fruity nose with great mouthfeel. Up front tannin structure denotes that it will age well. It goes well with red meat, cheese, chocolate and game.

2004 MERLOT, ESTATE BOTTLED

Grapes from Old Stage Vineyards. We released 100 cases in August, 2006 for this vintage.

TASTING NOTES: A full bodied dry red wine, aged in oak for 18 months before bottling. A fruity nose and great mouthfeel. Soft tannin structure that goes well with red meat, cheese, chocolate and game.

2005 MERLOT, ESTATE BOTTLED

Grapes from Old Stage Vineyards. We released 225 cases in February, 2010 for this vintage.

TASTING NOTES: A full bodied dry red wine aged in oak for 30 months before bottling. More tannin structure with fruit forward and a great mouthfeel. Goes well with all red meats, cheese, chocolate and game.

2005 CABERNET FRANC, ESTATE BOTTLED

Again, the grapes are from our Old Stage Vineyard. We bottled 250 cases in August, 2008 for this vintage. The wine was in French and American oak for 30 months before bottling.

TASTING NOTES: A Silver medal winner in the World of Wine tasting, this wine has a bold tannin structure with up-front fruit, full bodied, dry, fruity with a lingering finish and great mouthfeel. Goes well with red meats, wild game, cheese and chocolate.

2004 SHIRAZ, Applegate Valley. (CURRENTLY SOLD OUT)

RESERVE SELECTION

Grapes from Tandem Vineyards, Applegate Valley. We released 150 cases in May, 2006. This wine is different from our other reds, it is a deep red in color with the alcohol content at 15.1% by volume but does not exhibit any of the traits of a wine high in alcohol.

TASTING NOTES: Exciting aromas of wild berries, flavors of bittersweet chocolate and espresso complemented by spice and vanilla notes. The tannins are soft and velvety with a rich mouthfeel to complement the taste experience.

2007 SYRAH, ESTATE BOTTLED, Applegate Valley.

Grapes are from our home vineyard here in the Applegate Valley. This is the first wine from these vines, we harvested in mid October, 2007. The wine was fermented until dry, then racked into small French and American oak casks for ageing and settling. We bottled in December 2009 with minimal handling and no fining or filtration.

TASTING NOTES: Up front fruit with berry aromas, flavors of bittersweet chocolate, coffee, spice and vanilla. A bold tannin structure with rich mouthfeel and a long backtaste. Goes well with red meats, strong cheese and chocolate with a high percentage of cacao.

2005 CABERNET SAUVIGNON, ESTATE BOTTLED

Grapes from Old Stage Vineyards. We released 200 cases in July, 2008. This wine will be long lived because of the tannin structure. It was bottled after 36 months in French and American oak.

TASTING NOTES: Aromas of pepper and berries with flavors of espresso, dark chocolate, spice and vanilla. The tannins are up front and stand out, this wine will definitely benefit with bottle aging.

2004 CABERNET SAUVIGNON, ESTATE BOTTLED

Grapes from Old Stage Vineyards. We released 200 cases in February 2007. This Cabernet Sauvignon received a little more than 24 months in the barrel before bottling. It was minimally handled, un-fined and unfiltered.

TASTING NOTES: Aromatic nose with aromas of pepper, wild berries, flavors of bittersweet chocolate and espresso complemented by spice and vanilla notes. The tannins are developed so this wine will definitely benefit with bottle aging, however it is ready to drink now.
